The Greene County wrestling team was 1-1 in a Heart of Iowa dual meet in Jefferson.
The Rams lost 34-38 to the PCM Mustangs, with the loss including forfeits in the 106, 113, 170 and 220 weight classes. The Mustangs forfeited only once, to Ram senior Jacob Challen at 120 pounds. Jordan Challen (132), Tommy Bradshaw (138) and Rene Guzman (285) won by fall. Abe Yoder (145) won in an overtime decision 6-4. Jeremy Scheuermann (152) won by major decision and Dylan Forkner (126) won by decision.
The Rams topped the Tigerhawks of Colfax-Mingo 51-18. The Tigerhawks also had no wrestlers at 170 and 220, and forfeited to the Rams at 126, 132, 152 and 195. Senior Jacob Challen picked up his 100th career win, a 5-3 win by decision. Abe Yoder had the quickest pin of the evening, winning by fall in 17 seconds. Bradshaw, Hunter Ruth (182) and Guzman also won by fall.
The Rams are 10-11 overall and 5-4 n the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference.
